Little Explorer & Me: Cooking Up Chemistry

November 29, 2017 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Each month, the Little Explorer and Me program will introduce a new topic to our preschool guests. Sessions will include hands-on activities as well as experiments, demonstrations, and more. Coffee is also included!

Potato Clock

Even vegetables can conduct electricity! With a few simple materials, little explorers discover how to complete a circuit and power a clock.

Marshmallow Molecules

How small is small? Little explorers get to learn about atoms and molecules – the building blocks of nature – while creating their own yummy versions.

Milk Glue

Little explorers will make their own glue using things found in almost every kitchen. Who knew milk could be so strong?

This is a drop-in program and no preregistration is required.

Non-Members: Little Explorer & Me activities are included in admission price, children 2 and under are free.
