Little Explorer & Me: Earth Science

April 26, 2017 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Little Explorer & Me: Earth Science

Each month, the Little Explorer and Me program will introduce a new topic to our preschool guests. Sessions will include hands-on activities as well as experiments, demonstrations, and more. Coffee is also included!

Foil Comets

Comets are made up of 3 parts. Using two simple materials, little explorers will discover the three parts of a comet and make their own to take home.

Star Sensory

Little explorers will dig through the depths of space to discover what secrets the universe holds.

Planet Ornaments

Every planet looks different: some are blue, some are red, some have swirls, and some have land, like Earth. Little explorers will get to identify the planets by their pictures and recreate their own to take home.

Long ago, explorers and scientists discovered that the planets revolve around the sun, each in its own orbit. An orrery was invented to show this movement.

This is a drop-in program and no preregistration is required.

Non-Members: Little Explorer & Me activities are included in admission price, children 2 and under are free.
