2017-08-30T12:00:00-04:00

Each month, the Little Explorer and Me program will introduce a new topic to our preschool guests. Sessions will include hands-on activities as well as experiments, demonstrations, and more. Coffee is also included!

Sun Layers

The sun is not just one, big ball of burning gas – it is made up of layers just like the earth! Playdoh is the perfect medium for little explorers to discover the layers of the sun.

Tie-Dyed Sun

Little explorers get to be creative and make their own sun to take home all while learning about solubility.

Planetary Measuring

Just how far is the earth from the sun? How about Jupiter? Or even Neptune? With the help of a Museum guide, little explorers get to pretend they are planets and venture out into the far reaches of our solar system.

This is a drop-in program and no preregistration is required.

Non-Members: Little Explorer & Me activities are included in admission price, children 2 and under are free.

Members: Little Explorer & Me activities are free with Museum Membership ID.
