Schoolyard Habitat at the North Museum: Planting and Building Backyard Biodiversity Discussion.

The Schoolyard Habitat Program is a collaboration led by a Certified NWF Habitat Steward, PA Master Naturalist, and Ecological Garden Designer; Elyse Jurgen to design and build a certified National Wildlife Federation wildlife habitat garden on the grounds of the North Museum of Nature and Science.

Join us as we plant the 500 sq ft exhibit habitat garden to support wildlife, as an expansion of our outdoor Nature Walk. You’ll be engaged in hands-on activities while learning about native vs invasive plants and the importance of pollinators.

September 18th, 10:00AM — 12PM, Planting and Building Backyard Biodiversity Discussion, materials and plants provided. Work clothes and an extra digging tool are encouraged.
