Learn about Pennsylvania’s wild turkey research straight from the field! Rachel Pennell, Wild Turkey Research Project Crew Leader for the Southeast Region of the Pennsylvania Game Commission, will be the featured in-person speaker at Lancaster County Bird Club’s next meeting.
Teaser: Rachel will provide an overview of the Game Commission’s ongoing wild turkey projects, including both hen and gobbler research. She will discuss how habitat, predators, hunter harvest, disease, and weather are being studied, and how these findings will contribute to better regional turkey management.
