Payment

Payment is due on the day of visit or 30 days after for those who have chosen to be invoiced. Only one payment per group, no individual payments for visitors within the group will be accepted. Please note, if you decide to cancel your trip, please let us know as soon as possible to prevent any unnecessary invoices being sent to your school, organization, or company.

There will be no refunds on pre-paid invoices. Any cancellation less than 7 days before reservation date will not receive a refund on any monies paid. No-shows will be charged the full amount for the original number booked. Please email

Lunch

The Museum has one lunch location that can seat a group of 50 or less to enjoy a packed lunch. To accommodate larger groups in the Museum’s lunch space, groups can be broken up into lunch shifts of 50 or less. Special arrangements to reserve this location can be made depending upon availability. The Museum does not provide meals and does not have a cafeteria on site.

Picnic tables and benches are available without a reservation at Buchanan Park adjacent to the Museum.

Groups are welcome to eat a packed lunch at the Museum or in Buchanan Park, adjacent to the Museum. The Museum does not provide a lunch package.

Group Visit Policies

For the safety of your group and Museum collections, we ask that all groups adhere to the following Museum policies. Please make sure your students, staff, and chaperones are aware of these policies prior to your visit:

  • No photographs may be taken during a Planetarium Theater presentation. Other photography throughout the Museum is welcome.
  • The Museum is not responsible for lost articles.
  • Groups must provide adult supervision during the entire visit. At least one adult for every 10 students is recommended.
  • Museum Memberships, free admission passes, library passes, coupons or other discounts do not apply to group visits.
  • Groups must be reserved a minimum of 14 days in advance.
  • Bus drivers and para-professionals entrance fees are waived (ID of affiliated organization is required).
  • Teachers and all adult chaperones are required to pay the admission fee.
  • It is recommended that groups eat lunch in the park; otherwise the in-house limit is 50.
  • The Museum may ask large groups be divided into smaller groups to make them more manageable.
  • Planetarium shows can accommodate up to 60 people.
  • No more than seven supervised children in the gift shop at one time.
  • North Museum is not responsible for parking tickets.
  • Special accommodations must be made and finalized 7 days in advance.
