In a small, West Texas town neighbors trade gossip and gumballs, and everyone is pretty much the same.
Except Marsupial Girl, who’s just a little different. She loves music, superheroes, her mom, stuffed animals, and Macbeth.
And she’s about to discover the beauty and power of difference as she struggles to carve space in her community that’s the right shape for who she is: a very special creature.
