Science and Engineering Fair

The North Museum Science and Engineering Fair (NMSEF) serves as Lancaster County’s only free, ISEF-affiliated science fair. Our Fair is open to 7th – 12th grade students in Lancaster County. In 2018, we hosted over 300 student projects from over 30 schools.

Winners of the North Museum Science and Engineering Fair advance to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, the world’s largest international pre-college science competition.

Attend the NMSEF each year for an event you won’t want to miss! The 2019 NMSEF will take place at Millersville University on March 14th, 2019.

The deadline for 2019 North Museum Science and Engineering Fair has passed. Email if you have any questions about this year’s fair. Registration for the 2020 fair will open in September of 2019.

Be a Judge For the Fair

The North Museum invites the community to be a part of this impressive competition by being a judge.  Interested professionals from science-related fields (retiree’s welcome!) should register to receive information about becoming a judge. We need all the help we can get to evaluate projects from over 22 science categories.  Use the link below and support this countywide, internationally affiliated competition!
