  • Benoît Gouez, Moët & Chandon

  • Frédéric Panaiotis, Ruinart
  • Hosted by: Gwendolyn Osborn, Wine Educator, Wine.com

Tasting Set Includes:

  • Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut (375ML half-bottle)
The color is an elegant golden straw yellow with amber highlights. Its aromas are radiant, revealing bright yellow-fleshed fruits (apple, pear, yellow peach), honey, floral nuances (lime blossom) and elegant blond notes (brioche and fresh nuts). The palate is seductive, richly flavorful and smooth combining generosity and subtlety, fullness and vigor, followed by a delicately fresh crispiness (fruit with seeds).
  • Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut (375ML half-bottle)
Dominated by Pinot Noir, this wine offers a perfect balance of structure and finesse. Golden-yellow, with a foaming necklace of tiny bubbles. Reminiscent of yellow and white fruits, which unfold with notes of vanilla and brioche. Balance between the fruity aromas (from the grape varieties) and the toasty aromas (a result of the three years of bottle aging). The first sip delivers the freshness and strength typical of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label with a symphony of pear and lemon fruit. It is a true member of the Brut family, well structured, admirably vinous. Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label manages to reconcile two opposing factors – strength and silkiness – and to hold them in perfect balance with aromatic intensity and a lot of freshness. This makes it ideal as an apéritif, and perfect as the champagne to enjoy with a meal.
  • Ruinart Brut Rose (375ML half-bottle)
The wine is a brilliant orange-yellow rose petal colour with a very fine, profuse and sustained mousse. The nose is characterized by small red berries, mainly currant. On the palate the wine is vigorous and well balanced. A fine, fresh, fruity wine with well-integrated tannins and a hint of spice on the lengthy finish. Ruinart Rosé is produced from a blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay from the best of recent vintages. All of the fruit is from premiers crus vineyards.

Tasting sets are limited. Kindly reserve your set by Friday, December 15th, 2020.
