Full Day of STEM for School Groups
FULL DAY OF STEM
The North Museum and the Lancaster Science Factory have teamed up to offer a full day of interactive and educational STEM activities for your group!
While many groups take part in independent exploration of the Museum, this full day of STEM experience provides a customized STEM exploratory experience by offering a STEM Career Passport that each student uses to explore the Museum. There are five STEM Stations throughout the Museum, aligned with exhibits in that area. At each station students will learn about the skill sets needed, examples of a STEM career and receive a stamp in their passport for visiting that STEM Station.
Each area of the Museum focuses on various aspects of STEM such as; Engineering, Agriculture or Geology (and more). The STEM Stations are positioned in an area of the museum that relates to the exhibits. See if you can find all five! At the end of your tour, students get to keep their stamped STEM Career Passport.
Visit both museums for just $20 per student and $10 per adult.
Standard Tickets Include:
- Admission to the North Museum of Nature and Science starting at 10am
- North Museum STEM Passport – students will visit five STEM career stations that relate to surrounding exhibits. They’ll learn about the skills needed for each career and get to stamp their passports when complete!
