Keeping The North Museum Safe and Healthy
The North Museum is committed to the health & safety of its members, guests, volunteers and the community-at-large. Upon re-opening the museum during Pennsylvania’s Green Phase, the North Museum will be following the most cautionary of guidelines provided by the state & federal government, CDC, and the Association of Science & Technology Centers.
NEW HOURS:
Open Wednesday through Sunday by ticket reservation only:
10 am – 12 pm
1 pm – 3 pm
(12 pm – 1 pm closed for cleaning)
Planetarium Shows daily at 11 am and 2 pm.
Extra Precautions to Keep Guests Safe:
- Temperature Check Scan at Check In and contact and symptom questioning
- Masks REQUIRED to be worn by everyone during visit
- Reduced Museum Capacity and Social Distancing Markers
- Increased Hand Sanitizer Stations
- New systems for popular hands-on activities
- Protective Equipment to minimize staff and visitor contact including Plexiglass at VS desk and Protective Equipment for Staff (Masks, Face Shields)
- Disinfecting Common & High Traffic Areas (Checklist, Scheduled)
- Increased Hand Sanitizing stations
- Reduced Capacity in Live Animal Room
- Timed Entry (Ticketed/Online Only)

- Social Distancing Marks on Floor (6 feet apart)
- Scheduled monitoring of high traffic areas
