The Great American Eclipse at North Museum

Not able to leave this neck of the woods to see totality? No worries! Here in Lancaster during the peak of the eclipse, the sun will be at 91% coverage, which will still be an awesome sight! The North Museum will be open April 8th and hosting a grand event with, but not limited to:
- Solar scopes
- Make your own pinhole projectors, which is a safe way to see the eclipse without solar glasses,
- Make your own Eclipse
- Showings of the planetarium show “Eclipses Across America”
- A live feed up on our planetarium dome of totality.
The eclipse in Lancaster begins at 2:06 PM, peak coverage is 3:22 PM, and ends at 4:34 PM. Activities, and weather permitting, telescopes, will be out and ready by 12pm Monday. We look forward to seeing everyone here!
